Diia released her her first self-written EP More Than Ordinary in 2012. Following that came Kaleidoscope Eyes, which garnered much attention. In particular, Diia caught the eye of Brandon Paddock who previously worked with Avril Lavigne.
The two penned and produced music, an experience Diia describes as “invaluable to my artistic growth”. She soon met Canadian icon Dan Hill (Sometimes When We Touch). The two artists are currently collaborating. In addition, Diia is working with UK outfit Frequency, and Canadian producer/artist Cugini.
A born performer, she has also self-produced two music videos for her songs: Alone and Nothing Without; both which showcase her personality and diverse skill-set.
The media quickly recognized her talent and Diia has scored airplay on Canadian and American radio and TV, where she was recently featured on CHRY’s Radio Humber 96.9 FM, and on OMNI TV's ‘V-mix' program.
Diia is rising fast, cementing her place as one of Canada's most promising up and coming stars.
